From Evaluation to Evaluation: Delivering Transformational Feedback to Educators (Online Workshop, 3-6pm)

October 8th, 2025
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

MSAA Professional Development Workshop for School Administrators, Instructional Coaches, Department Heads, and (PreK-12) Classroom Teachers

From Evaluation to Elevation: Delivering Transformational
 Feedback to Educators

Providing feedback that leads to real growth requires more than compliance-based evaluations. This session introduces a Human-Centered Leading and Teaching approach that transforms feedback into a catalyst for professional growth. Using the Danielson Framework for Teaching, participants will explore effective observation, coaching, and feedback cycles that foster meaningful educator development. Through role-playing, case studies, and scenario-based discussions, participants will practice delivering actionable, strength-based feedback while learning strategies to navigate difficult conversations. This interactive session will equip school leaders and instructional coaches with the tools needed to set clear expectations, inspire continuous improvement, and create a thriving learning environment.

Administrators will learn to:

·         Deliver feedback that effectively fosters teacher growth and accountability

·         Navigate pre- and post-evaluation discussions with increased confidence

·         Utilize the Danielson Framework to facilitate evidence-based and impactful conversations

·        Refine feedback techniques through engaging, real-world practice scenarios

·         Ultimately, build a culture of trust, clarity, and support within their schools
