Making ADHD Work for Students -Proactive Classroom Strategies

Students with ADHD—or those who may have ADHD—often face challenges related to work organization, time management, excessive talking, difficult transitions, and overall classroom behavior.

This workshop is designed to provide educators with proactive strategies to create a structured and engaging learning environment that helps ADHD work for students rather than against them. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how ADHD impacts learning and behavior while exploring practical tools and techniques to support student organization, minimize disruptions, manage transitions, and encourage positive classroom behaviors. Through hands-on activities and real-life classroom scenarios, attendees will leave with a toolkit of ready-to-use strategies that can be implemented immediately.

This workshop is ideal for teachers, support staff, administrators, and anyone working with students who have or may have ADHD. Educators will walk away with practical techniques to reduce disruptions, improve student engagement, and feel more confident in supporting students with ADHD effectively.
