A Positive School Culture

Teachers work hard every day to make sure each student they work with feels a sense of belonging, significance, and fun, and feels successful. But who's looking out for the teachers, not to mention the TAs, specialists, and other school staff?
All the adults in a school deserve to feel that same sense of belonging, significance, and fun, as well as satisfaction with their work.

What can we, as leaders, do to help make that happen? A lot! Establishing and maintaining a positive school culture starts with the school leader, but everyone contributes, either positively or negatively.

Hear time-tested strategies for building school culture, and share your own, in this interactive session.

Participants will:

·         Gain concrete examples of strategies to build or enhance a positive school culture

·         Learn methods for collaborating with staff, families, the community, and students to foster positive change
